The processing of personal data on behalf of charity clients
We are engaged by our clients to provide supporter acquisition services. In order to do so we need to process data on their behalf. Throughout this arrangement it will be the case that our client is the Data Controller and Gilcore is the Data Processor.
Gilcore will not sell your personal data to any third parties and it will only share your personal data with third parties that: (i) provide us with services necessary for the processing of your donation; and (ii) have been approved by the Data Controller.
Your data will be held by Gilcore and third parties meeting the criteria above only for as long as is deemed necessary by agreement between Gilcore and the Data Controller, and for a maximum of twelve months.
When you agree to support or donate to one of our charity clients we will ask you to confirm your preferences for marketing contact. If you elect not to opt-in for marketing contact by any specific channel, then Gilcore and our clients will not send you marketing correspondence by that channel. In order to set up your donation we may need to send you one-off administrative correspondence by one or more channels for which you may not have opted in for marketing contact. It should be noted that the purpose and nature of such correspondence is administrative and will not include any marketing content.
